Rapid7 is seeking an experienced, self-motivated, and strategic Analyst Relations professional to build upon and accelerate its existing Analyst Relations program. Reporting to the Vice President of Portfolio Marketing, you will build and execute the analyst engagement strategy for key areas of our product portfolio, helping us shape our story in collaboration with Rapid7 leadership, product marketing, and the industry analyst community. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of building an AR strategy, leading participation in major research, and building relationships with influential analysts, executive teams, and product strategy and marketing leaders.
In this role you will:
Develop and implement strategic Analyst Relations plans to achieve company and product objectives
Drive awareness of Rapid7's platform, products and services, expanding analysts' understanding of our value proposition and differentiation in the market
Cultivate and advance relationships with key analysts and market influencers
Execute briefings, inquiries and strategy days with relevant analysts and company spokespeople to ensure our products and services are positioned favorably in the minds of our target analysts and the major research they publish
Be a strategic partner to Rapid7 executives in preparing content that is tailored for an analyst audience; providing spokesperson training, education and feedback where needed
Advise senior leaders and internal teams about analysts' perceptions about Rapid7 competitive insights and industry trends.
Manage Analyst Relations operations — specifically, analyst firm contracts, analyst relations agency, budget and quarterly measurement and reporting process
In return you will bring:
7+ years of experience as a strategic communicator or marketer, with deep experience running and executing high profile analyst relations programs in a global organization
Experience in a B2B, SaaS product environment, with cybersecurity knowledge preferred
Strong knowledge of analyst relations best practices, processes, and planning
Demonstrated evidence of growing coverage, elevating a company profile in research reports & favorable product evaluations performed by analyst firms
Ability to balance strategic, critical thinking with more tactical execution activities
Solid project management skills coupled with a successful track record of achieving results by working cross-functionally in a fast paced environment
Experience managing and overseeing agency resources
Analytical background, naturally inquisitive and always seeking answers
