 Reporting to the International Order Management Manager, the Senior Order Management Specialist is a critical position of the expansion of the Order Management and Revenue Operations team at Rapid7, and a key business partner for our go-to-customer teams. Responsibilities include partnering with Sales, Sales Operations, Accounting, and Finance, the approval of quotes and orders along with the day-to-day activities of the International Order Management team 

Responsible for:

  • Accurate processing and approving of orders received by sales, including following up on order contracts and tax documentation while keeping the customer as our focus 

  • Follow up and resolve any operational and order related issues with other departments, including sales, accounting, sales operations, and revenue operations

  • Provide direction in problem solving, research and dispute resolution related to customer issues including with invoicing, licensing, and collections

  • Back up order management specialists, when necessary

  • Assist with quote structuring and approvals, as needed.

  • Participate in training of sales team on order requirements

  • Engage with the global team on productivity improvements

  • Assist order management team with achievement of goals, development, and ongoing training and improvement of existing or creation of new, comprehensive metrics reporting on order management process

  • Oversee day-to-day activities in local office, including monitor pending, suspended, and on hold tickets in Zendesk

  • Review ageing unvalidated orders and assist with troubleshooting

  • Assist on cross functional projects

  • Document new processes, maintenance of existing processes and procedures, including SOX documentation and compliance testing

  • Perform other duties and projects as assigned

Position Requirements (Knowledge and Experience):

  • 5+ years in Order Management, Revenue Accounting, or Related Experience

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel a plus

  • NetSuite Experience a plus

  • Attention to detail, strong analytical, problem solving and organisational skills, and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

  • Ability to effectively communicate within all levels of the organisation

  • Data analysis and reporting experience a plus
