Rapid7's International Growth Marketing team is a critical engine that fuels demand for Rapid7 solutions through customer-focused marketing initiatives to build awareness, and engage the buyer from prospect to a happy customer. Rapid7 is investing in the International region (EMEA, APJ and LATAM) to drive accelerated growth.

The Opportunity 

Rapid7 is looking for a high-energy,  self-motivated Director, EMEA Growth Marketing to help drive us in the next stage of our growth. Reporting to the Senior Director, International Growth Marketing, you will be a key member of the Growth Marketing team and a critical partner to Sales and other cross-functional teams in the region. Growth Marketing at Rapid7 is a unique blend of science and creativity. With a passion for analytically-driven marketing and a desire to blaze new trails and challenge convention, you'll translate our global mission, vision and innovation into scalable growth initiatives that resonate with customers and deliver out-sized results. This is a highly visible, fast-paced role with substantial ability to directly impact Rapid7's international market success.

Essential Responsibilities 

  • Lead a team of regional demand creators and lead development representatives to drive significant, scalable and predictable pipeline and annual recurring revenue for EMEA. Current marketing team members located in UK, France and Germany.

  • Develop and execute a growth marketing strategy and program to support our customer acquisition & retention goals in EMEA 

  • Propose, develop, test and execute multi-channel acquisition programs that both integrate, and surgically use digital, content, email, web, direct mail, events, and account-based marketing to reach market segments with information and ideas that resonate with and engage them

  • Develop and own regional partner marketing relationships with strategic partners, including planning, development and execution of marketing programs to drive channel pipeline and growth

  • Drive improvements in our pipeline generation processes to deliver efficiencies in our demand gen, lead qualification and sales opportunity creation

  • Foster an environment of continuous learning by personally demonstrating a thirst for knowledge, a deep understanding of our customers, markets and products, and a quest to learn from others   

  • Monitor and communicate demand gen and campaign performance so we know what's working, what's not, and how we can best beat our goals. You'll ensure we have detailed insight into all funnel metrics and ROI across every acquisition channel

  • Work with each member of your team to understand their strengths, growth areas and career ambitions to create tailored employee development plans.  Create opportunities for the team to learn and grow

  • Be a vocal advocate for the region: understand the market & customer dynamics, and be a driver in educating other cross-functional teams on any unique requirements and dependencies to driving growth (messaging, verticals, use cases content, localisation etc)

  • You will lead from the front: being a resourceful change-agent with the ability to a lead and motivate a team through hyper-growth times of rapid change

  • Maintain a positive, results-oriented, collaborative environment, building strong stakeholder relationships that models teamwork and trust

Job Requirements 

  • 5+ years building, developing, managing and mentoring high-performance teams; remote leadership experience preferred

  • Be an innovator - continually seek fresh thinking and approaches, and be prepared to challenge convention

  • Highly customer-focused

  • A strong bias toward action and the ability to lead your team to become experts at rapidly testing and scaling acquisition channels

  • Background in tech industry is essential; SaaS-style products / security or cloud preferred

  • Strong analytical background, naturally inquisitive and always seeking answers

  • High degree of emotional intelligence, with the ability to facilitate and influence change, and collaborate effectively with stakeholders across the organization

  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate complex ideas and analysis, simply and visually

  • Agile, with a proven ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial company in which cross-functional teamwork and initiative are musts
