Lead Learning Experience Strategist

We are seeking an experienced professional to join Rapid7's global People Development team to support the designing and scaling of learning experiences for our growing, global and hybrid workforce. The candidate for this role knows how people learn and designs experiences to help them learn better. The person in this role is passionate about shaping and driving a culture of learning within organisations and building effective learning practices and experiences that align with the 70-20-10 model. A successful candidate should have a strong foundation in instructional design and learning technology along with the ability to influence and define the organisation's technology ecosystem to drive innovation in career and people development.
In this role, you will:
Work closely with stakeholders and subject matter experts to listen and understand the business need and problem to be solved
Work with and consult with People Strategy and business-embedded learning teams across the organisation.
Develop a learning technology ecosystem and roadmap
Leverage your working and hands-on knowledge of learning platforms and innovations to create engaging experiences to support the 70/20/10 model.
Mentor team members and influence across the organisation on the trends, innovations and research related to learning and career development
Define and drive standards for learning across the ADDIE model.
Support operational excellence by creating high quality learning templates and resources for leverage and scale
Partner closely with HRIS to ensure the platform (Workday) is optimised for learning and development.
Have an eye and high bar for the production of learning - collaborating closely with internal marketing, branding and communication.
Function as project manager for digital learning content/materials/experiences and company-wide campaigns.

Previous experience in all aspects of developing and implementing learning experiences and eLearning content (EX: Articulate/Storyline 360)
Proficiency in digital learning tools and current learning technology and standards
Vendor management experience
Superior project management skills and “hands” on tactical management of learning experiences/product development
Ability to tailor and iterate designs to the needs of a global and hybrid business
Nice to haves:
Manage change to implement new learning approaches and technologies
Previous experience in managing a LMS (Workday experience is a plus)
Previous experience in managing other learning platforms and technologies (LXPs and LRS's)
Instructional design certification or degree
