Description

This module sends mDNS queries, which are really just normal UDP DNS
queries done (usually) over multicast on a different port, 5353.

To display the available options, load the module within the Metasploit console and run the commands ‘show options’ or ‘show advanced’:


    msf > use auxiliary/scanner/mdns/query
    msf auxiliary(query) > show actions
        ...actions...
    msf auxiliary(query) > set ACTION < action-name >
    msf auxiliary(query) > show options
        ...show and set options...
    msf auxiliary(query) > run
