A privileged user inside a guest could use this flaw to crash the QEMU process resulting in DoS or potentially execute arbitrary code on the host with privileges of QEMU process on the host.

  • oracle-linux-upgrade-qemu-kvm
  • oracle-linux-upgrade-qemu-kvm-common
  • oracle-linux-upgrade-qemu-kvm-tools

With Rapid7 live dashboards, I have a clear view of all the assets on my network, which ones can be exploited, and what I need to do in order to reduce the risk in my environment in real-time. No other tool gives us that kind of value and insight.
