Description

The tls_decrypt_ticket function in ssl/t1_lib.c in OpenSSL before 1.1.0 does not consider the HMAC size during validation of the ticket length, which allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service via a ticket that is too short.

Solution(s)

  • centos-upgrade-openssl
  • centos-upgrade-openssl-devel
  • centos-upgrade-openssl-libs
  • centos-upgrade-openssl-perl
  • centos-upgrade-openssl-static

With Rapid7 live dashboards, I have a clear view of all the assets on my network, which ones can be exploited, and what I need to do in order to reduce the risk in my environment in real-time. No other tool gives us that kind of value and insight.
