An issue was discovered in drivers/scsi/qedi/qedi_dbg.c in the Linux kernel before 5.1.12. In the qedi_dbg_* family of functions, there is an out-of-bounds read. An out-of-bounds (OOB) memory access flaw was found in the Qlogic ISCSI module in the Linux kernel's qedi_dbg_* family of functions in drivers/scsi/qedi/qedi_dbg.c. Here a local attacker with a special user privilege account (or a root) can cause an out-of-bound memory access leading to a system crash or a leak of internal kernel information.
With Rapid7 live dashboards, I have a clear view of all the assets on my network, which ones can be exploited, and what I need to do in order to reduce the risk in my environment in real-time. No other tool gives us that kind of value and insight.
