Description

In libtirpc before 1.3.3rc1, remote attackers could exhaust the file descriptors of a process that uses libtirpc because idle TCP connections are mishandled. This can, in turn, lead to an svc_run infinite loop without accepting new connections.

Solution(s)

  • redhat-upgrade-libtirpc
  • redhat-upgrade-libtirpc-debuginfo
  • redhat-upgrade-libtirpc-debugsource
  • redhat-upgrade-libtirpc-devel

With Rapid7 live dashboards, I have a clear view of all the assets on my network, which ones can be exploited, and what I need to do in order to reduce the risk in my environment in real-time. No other tool gives us that kind of value and insight.
