Peiter ‘Mudge' Zatko is a network security expert, open-source programmer, writer, and hacker. A prominent member of the high-profile hacker collective L0pht, Mudge remains a leading voice for "white hats" in information security and transparent vulnerability disclosure.
Zatko has held several notable positions over his storied career, including overseeing cybersecurity research at DARPA, Deputy Director for Google's Advanced Technology & Projects division, Head of Security at Stripe, and he served on the Executive team at Twitter as Head of Security. He now serves an advisory role at Rapid7 as Executive in Residence.
