Rapid7 and the Boston Bruins are touching down in Mile High City this December. While the Bruins and the Avalanche prepare to face off on the ice, Rapid7 will be bringing together the Denver security community to address today’s most pressing topics - like threat intelligence and counter-terrorism.
Join us for an afternoon spent tackling some of security’s biggest questions and a chance to attend the game from our suite.* You will hear from John Franchi, a former senior officer of the Central Intelligence Agency, as well as Denver-based CISOs whose teams are shifting to the offensive zone to address the ever-evolving attack surface.
No matter where your hockey fandom lies, if there’s one thing we can all agree on, it’s that when it comes to keeping businesses secure, we’re all on the same team. We look forward to hosting you and your peers in Denver.
*Tickets are limited and will be given away on a first come first serve basis.

There’s no shortage of threat intelligence… In fact, there is often more than any organization can effectively manage. Despite this, most organizations are still unable to effectively track an attack lifecycle. Historically most cyber teams depended on IOCs for threat detection and hunting. Not only is this an overwhelming management task, it’s also no longer effective. Today you need an arsenal of analytics to protect your company, including; brand security monitoring, exploitable data monitoring, executive protection monitoring, data leakage monitoring, phishing campaign monitoring, and TTP analysis.
Does this sound overwhelming? Thankfully, there is a light at the end of the tunnel… a tested playbook for how to do it all without adding numerous resources. There are now technologies that can manage all of this intelligence automatically and weaponize your cyber security stack to accelerate detections and streamline responses.
Similar to hockey players on the ice executing defensive strategies that are called in by their expert management teams, and supporting resources studying probabilities and running analytics of the opponent's strategies. All of these people are gathering intelligence to arm the defensive line with weapons to defend against oncoming attacks. Sound familiar?
