Description

Certain versions of QuickTime Streaming Server ship with a vulnerable script named 'parse_xml.cgi' which can be trivially abused to disclose the source code of any script within the web root. This vulnerability is moot unless the administrator specifically creates or modifies scripts to contain sensitive data, as the default scripts do not hold any useful information.

Solution(s)

  • qtss-upgrade-4_1_3_g
  • qtss-upgrade-latest
