Description

The system is missing one or more SuSE security patches. This patch fixes a buffer overflow in the wv libraries decoding of MS Word files where a remote attacker could gain access to the machine with a handcrafted .DOC file. This issue was found by Karol Weisek, an advisory was published by iDEFENSE, full advisory is here: http://www.idefense.com/application/poi/display?id=115&type=vulnerabilities&flashstatus=true It has the CVE Mitre assigned Id CAN-2004-0645.
