Description

The system is running a vulnerable version of the Mozilla browser. An integer overflow passing a large js array to the SOAPParameter constructor results in a controlled overwriting of the heap, which can be exploited to run arbitary code of the attacker's choice.

Solution(s)

  • mozilla-firefox-upgrade-latest

With Rapid7 live dashboards, I have a clear view of all the assets on my network, which ones can be exploited, and what I need to do in order to reduce the risk in my environment in real-time. No other tool gives us that kind of value and insight.
