Description

Certain versions of Postfix do not re-write e-mail addresses correctly. As a result, it is possible for a remote attacker to use a malformed address to disable the service. It should be noted that a successful exploit can corrupt the queue, requiring the extra intervention by the administrator to restore functionality.

Solution(s)

  • postfix-upgrade-1_1_13

With Rapid7 live dashboards, I have a clear view of all the assets on my network, which ones can be exploited, and what I need to do in order to reduce the risk in my environment in real-time. No other tool gives us that kind of value and insight.
