Description

THTTPD versions prior to 2.23 are vulnerable to a directory traversal vulnerability. By specifying "../.." in the Host header in an http request on a thttpd server with the vhost option enabled (-v), an attacker could view all the files on the root web server path.

Solution(s)

  • thttpd-upgrade-latest

With Rapid7 live dashboards, I have a clear view of all the assets on my network, which ones can be exploited, and what I need to do in order to reduce the risk in my environment in real-time. No other tool gives us that kind of value and insight.
