A Quake3 getstatus operation retrieves a variety of free-form,
server-specific metadata that describes the Quake3 server and the
connected players. While the contents of a response vary from server to
server, the size of the response can be upwards of 500x the size of
a request, and because it utilizes UDP, this can be used to conduct
traffic amplification attacks against other assets, typically in the form
of distributed reflected denial of service (DRDoS) attacks.
