Mike McKee Joins Rapid7 as Senior Vice President to Lead Strategic Professional Services and Support Organization

Seasoned Executive to Drive Global Services Evolution and Scale Customer Support

(Rapid7), a leading provider of IT security risk management software and cloud solutions, today announced that Mike McKee recently joined the Company as senior vice president of services and support. With a strong focus on strategic value creation around real-world IT security threats and risk management best practices, underpinned by the world's largest open source exploit framework, Rapid7 has become a leading advocate for security awareness and education. The Company brings this deep insight into the threat landscape to its value-added strategic services and support offerings, delivering advanced guidance to help customers meet their business goals and effectively manage their security risk environments and operations.

As the senior vice president of services and support, Mike will be driving the continued development and build-out of compelling services offerings that address customers' needs as IT paradigms continue to evolve. The Rapid7 professional services organization is helping customers understand and manage risks relating to the adoption of cloud and mobile services, as well as the ever-increasing risk brought by users. The team will continue to lead the industry in identifying and investigating the emerging threats and shifting IT trends that will dictate future security concerns for organizations of varying sizes.

Rapid7's global services organization aids customers in realizing the maximum value of the Company's suite of products by developing tailored security strategies to meet their needs. The team works directly with Rapid7's customers to plan, execute and implement strategic risk management solutions centered on Rapid7's products, including Metasploit, Nexpose, and Mobilisafe, each designed to give organizations actionable insight and guidance for reducing their risk. In addition, Rapid7 offers outsourced assessment, penetration testing and risk management services.

Mike joins Rapid7 from Parametric Technology (PTC), where he held a number of different positions throughout his 12-year tenure at the company, including roles in finance, sales, and services. Most recently, he served as senior vice president of business operations and strategy for PTC's $600 million computer-aided design software business. While at PTC, Mike spent four years in Paris overseeing the customer training portion of PTC's Europe and Asia Services business.
