Description

The affected asset is vulnerable to this vulnerability ONLY if it is running one of the following modules: mod_ssl AND optional renegotiation is used (SSLOptions +OptRenegotiate) with verification of client certificates. Review your web server configuration for validation. A bug in the optional renegotiation code in mod_ssl included with Apache httpd can cause cipher suite restrictions to be ignored. This is triggered if optional renegotiation is used (SSLOptions +OptRenegotiate) along with verification of client certificates and a change to the cipher suite over the renegotiation.

Solution(s)

  • apache-httpd-upgrade-2_0_47
