Description

Certain versions of Webmin do not correctly filter text while displaying logs through the web interface. As a result, a remote attacker can inject code which runs under the privileges of Webmin (typically root). This is similar to Cross-Site Scripting (XSS), but is not limited to the execution of Javascript. Thus the impact of this vulnerability is much greater.

Solution(s)

  • webmin-upgrade-0_93
  • webmin-upgrade-latest
