Description

The Requests package before 2.20.0 for Python sends an HTTP Authorization header to an http URI upon receiving a same-hostname https-to-http redirect, which makes it easier for remote attackers to discover credentials by sniffing the network.

Solution(s)

  • suse-upgrade-python-requests
  • suse-upgrade-python2-requests
  • suse-upgrade-python2-requests-test
  • suse-upgrade-python3-requests
  • suse-upgrade-python3-requests-test

With Rapid7 live dashboards, I have a clear view of all the assets on my network, which ones can be exploited, and what I need to do in order to reduce the risk in my environment in real-time. No other tool gives us that kind of value and insight.
