Description

Certain versions of Mozilla Firefox strip out the Unicode Byte-order-mark (BOM) character before passing a page's contents to the parser. As a result, a remote attacker can use BOMs to bypass a web script's input filtering to launch a cross-site scripting attack against the local user.
